Helping Today's Youth Build Better Tomorrows.
Empower and inspire youth through mentorship and coaching. Providing them with life skills through diverse opportunities via programming for Financial Literacy, Physical and Mental Health Awareness, Education, and Technology.
Financial Literacy
Financial literacy is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity. Many young adults are entering the workforce or college without a solid foundation in budgeting, saving, or understanding credit. According to a 2022 study by FINRA, 53% of young adults in the U.S. report feeling financially anxious. At Club 818, we offer practical, age-appropriate lessons in budgeting, taxes, and personal finance. Our goal is to equip youth with the knowledge to manage their financial future effectively.
Mental Health
Mental health is more than just a trending topic—it’s a critical aspect of youth development. With 42% of teens feeling persistently sad and hopeless according to a 10 year study published by the CDC in 2021, we are committed to providing tools and resources to help manage emotions, reduce stress, and build resilience. Our programming focuses on emotional intelligence, stress management, and building healthy coping mechanisms, aiming to create a supportive environment for mental well-being.
Physical Health
Maintaining physical health goes hand-in-hand with mental well-being. With increasing rates of childhood obesity and sedentary lifestyles, it’s crucial to teach young people the importance of staying active. According to the CDC, only 1 in 5 adolescents meets the required physical activity levels. Our programs combine fun, inclusive activities with education on nutrition and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Arts
The arts are a powerful tool for self-expression and cognitive development. Studies have shown that students involved in the arts are more likely to engage in academics and participate in community service. At Club 818, we encourage creative exploration through painting, music, drama, and more, empowering youth to develop their artistic skills while learning valuable life lessons in creativity and problem-solving.

Our Commitment to Today’s Youth
Youth today face unique pressures—from digital distractions to academic demands. At Club 818, we aim to bridge the gap between what they learn in school and the skills they need in real life. Our approach is holistic, recognizing that youth need support in a wide variety of areas to truly thrive.
The disconnect between traditional education and essential life skills is more evident than ever. Through our monthly programming, we seek to address this gap and provide youth with the skills to succeed not just in their careers, but in life.
Club 818 is for every young person who wants to be their best self, whether they need help with finances, mental health, or finding their voice through the arts. We’re here to provide them with the support and tools they need to thrive.
Why Club 818?
In today’s rapidly evolving world, youth face unique challenges. While many organizations focus primarily on at-risk youth, Club 818 is different. We believe that every child, regardless of background or circumstance, deserves access to essential life skills that will help them thrive in an increasingly complex society. We don’t just prepare young people to survive; we prepare them to excel.
Our mission is simple: to provide all youth—ages 8 to 18—with holistic life skills in seven key areas: financial literacy, mental health, physical health, arts, academics, STEM, and social skills. These areas are essential to helping young people navigate adulthood, particularly in the wake of the social and economic disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
